In this painting, the first of a series of three, the figure is planting a future. Although it is unsure what the future may hold, the seeds of intention are certainly there. The painting is set in the early morning hours, representing the drive within the figure to accomplish his/her dreams and goals. While one eye looks to the present moment, another looks into the horizon, visualizing the infinite possibilities.
